Artist Bio: Elizabeth von Isser

Elizabeth von Isser paints flowers as if she has entered into their center, exploring them from the inside out. She has struggled with being nearsighted all her life, a challenge that has proven to be a blessing by revealing a world that goes unnoticed by most of us. As she gets close to her subjects, her view turns the flower into pure form and color.

Von Isser left a successful career in engineering to pursue this artistic journey, a rebirth of sorts – she hopes you will join her and see the simple forms of God's creation in a new way.
